Tweak mode not working on Mac and Windows

Hi everyone,

I saw the new tweak mode today and wanted to play with it. But it doesn't work on both my Windows and Mac machine. I am using Processing 2.0.3 and have the latest Java Run Time on both platform.

When I ran a sketch in the tweak mode, the code in PDE will underline the hard coded value and I can drag the arrow left or right on the number and see the number change. But the sketch does not update.

Anyone else has seen this problem as well?

It works for me (MacOSX 10.8.5; Processing 2.03). Are you sure the sketches you are testing it with are responsive to the variables you are changing? Make sure also that you haven't got noLoop() on, as this will not update with changes.

Here's a minimal example that works for me (dragging the diam value changes the circle size dynamically):

void setup()
{
  size(400, 300);
}

void draw()
{
  background(255);

  float diam = 100;
  ellipse(width/2, height/2, diam, diam);
}

Hi Jo,

Thank you for your response. Yes, I did not have noLoop() in my code but I realize that I did not have the draw function. I put everything in setup(). And the sketch was probably not redrawing.

Everything works fine now.

I have also tried to install tweak mode with processing but it is not working for me too. I am using Processing 2.0.1 on windows 7 machine.

Any help ?
