Maybe it is me working in a bar at 20:47—however, I am having some issue locating the following error:

To me, it doesn't look like I have any unclosed '()'s.

I don't have a lot of Processing experience; however, I am fairly fluent in Java. I used the explicit version of String, because I don't know what a processing String is.

Sometimes the error can be in a different file than the one it brings you to, and it isn't always that kind of error.

I'm guessing that the error is in your fvec2 file... don't ask.

It would probably be easier to find your problem if you pasted the code rather than a screenshot...

Also, I find that when you have the cursor to the right of any given open/close character, the other is highlighted- unless there is a mismatch of open to close. So see which file(s) do not highlight the open/close pair.

Yes, I discovered the error on fvec2. I discovered it by moving Paritcles into the main tab. Then the error parser went to the right line in fvec2.

That still seams like a bug to me.

On the return line, you don't need the parenthesis. I also took out a few +s that were between two strings, although that probably doesn't make a difference. Try this:

  return "\tpos:\t("+pos.x+", "+pos.y+"),\n\tvel:\t("+vel.x+", "+vel.y+");";

That's not a bug, that's a problem with most compilers: they can be happy with the code thrown at them, even if a closing parenthesis is missing, until they find something really odd in the current context. They then report the error where it went wrong, while the error can be lot of lines before.
Processing displays tabs, but at the end, all the .pde files end in the same file, that's why an error can be reported in the wrong tab.
