As the tutorial says, you have to use the more advanced object threading.

A simple method is to have a boolean variable visible from the thread and from the main program.
Say we name it shouldStop.
When it is set to true from the main program, the thread looking at it just return from its infinite loop, and ends.

in ma case i just wanna run that part of the prog once at background(as it's a "Blocking call"!)...

In your example, you have no loop, so the thread ends when the function returns.

It's more or less the same... :)
i cant end it by pressing a key as it should just run once; So, the condition d==0([OR]  running = false) happening within the thread.
