Hi all!

I hope someone could help )
Well, since yesterday, when I am trying to run processing, I receive the warning about the missing sketchbook folder and I don't know where is the problem (it was working properly before).. I downloaded the last version (2.0b6-windows64, till yesterday was the 2.0b4-windows64), hoping it will work, but I see the same lovely warning about processing talking about himself in the third person )) ...
So... I have a question: when is the sketchbook folder created? When I run processing or it exists already? And what I should do solve this... ?

One more thing: last week I changed my antivirus software to avast... before was mcafee... and I keep wondering if it is not the antivirus that blocks this folder creation...

Perhaps check if in the preferences.txt file, at the sketchbook.path property, the path to your sketchbook is OK.

Well, declare it with the path to your sketchbook, then.
sketchbook.path=H:\PhiLhoSoft\Processing
for example.

I am not sure if it will do any good, but one thing you can attempt is to move (or copy) this folder elsewhere, preferably in a path without spaces in it.
You are talking about the preference.txt file in C:\Users\Avis Rara\AppData\Roaming\Processing? Just to be sure.

No, I'm talking about preferences.txt from processing-2.0b6/lib.

This file hasn't a reference to the sketchbook because it is a generic, read-only file that should not be edited.
Processing creates a new one at the location I point to (or should do), and the values there overrides the defaults values from the one in the installation dir.
