convert coordinate system to meters

I have some objects which their position is in meters , how can I show them in processing considering that it will draw them in pixel ? do I need to convert meters to pixels ?

If you don't want to export some geometry, feel free to make up imaginary units. When I sketch something, that is as big as a room, I usually make the assumption that one Processing unit / one pixel is one centimeter... As long as you keep it consistent...

so as far as I understand , what matters here is that all objects should have one unit . so I can assume that one pixel could be one centimeter.

I try to build a real time application to model a car's movement and other objects around it .... I have some logfile from Matlab ...

Basically yes. For the display on screen, you can do a global scale or some tweaks to your camera (if in 3D) to determine how big things are drawn.

When doing physics calculations, I would stick to the SI Units.

For example:

float myVelocity = 2.5; // is 2.5 meters per second
float myLength = 100; // is 100 meters
float myBrakeDuration = 4; // is 4 seconds.

What is that Matlab log file?

thank you so much . that matlab logfile contains the positions of objects . so I'll set up a udp channel to send that data to android and show it in real time by this application . that's my final goal .

I have one other problem that maybe you can get me some ideas to solve that . here I describe that in the last post . if you have time please look at my topic.
