Synchronous Sorting

Is there a way to sort an array and have another array of equal size sort synchronously? Something along the lines of key/value commands in other languages. This doesn't seem to be a part of the sort() command, and I'm not sure how to get this done with 2D arrays either.

Answer: no.

Elaborating: the best way to do that is actually to have one array only.
You put the two data in a simple class, implementing the Comparable interface for example, and you make an array of instances of this class. Then you can use Arrays.sort() to sort this data.
