Hello,

i want to draw a curve, f.e. an SVG curve in inkscape and make variations of it in Processing.

What is the best procedure to make a SVG-Curve editable in Processing?

Something like load all curve points and slightly change their values.

(I want to define the base curve in a wysiwyg program like inkscape, vat vary the points in Processing)

For Illustrator there is this handy plugin: http://drawscri.pt/

But in general you can use loadShape and then access the children/vertices of the SVG PShape.

When loading SVG into PShape you can later use getVertexCount() and getVertex(int) methods.

This will only work well in Java mode with latest processing (make sure you have Processing 2.0.1 or later installed)>

This won't work in JavaScript (as ProcessingJS PShape object doesn't have methods to query vertices).

Neither it work well in Android (at least today) because there're few bugs in the PShape implementation on android. Which I guess will be fixed soon.
