if i have an expression like: if (dontTint== 2 ) noTint();
i have an array of image that fade out. how can you make multiple numbers to ==. so that i can have the image 2, 6,7,10 noTint.

Use switch() instead of if()

switch(thisNumber)

case 2 :

ellipseone(); // a function

break;

case 6 :

ellipsetwo(); // a function

break;

case 7 :

ellipsethree(); // a function

break;

case 10 :

ellipsefour(); // a function

Sorry i was just using that as an example the actual code that im working with is: if (dontTint== 2 ) noTint();
i 'm creating an array of images but i want odd images to have no tint

You probably want to use || OR.

In fact, to determine even/odd, you want to learn about our friend modulo (%). Modulo gives you the remainder of a division between the two numbers:

So:

5 % 2 = 1

4 % 2 = 0

You can use that fact to make your if statement pass/fail correctly for any even/odd number.
