Sounds glitch on loop?

I'm having a problem with a glitch playing an audio loop. The file is mono, 44.1, 16 bit and around 12 secs long. The file glitches at the beginning every time it loops. I'm using the Maxim maxim; AudioPlayer player; in the Coursera course for creative programming ...
Anyone have similar problems, any ideas why and how to fix this?
