Howdy,

last weeks I wrote a Java library, which simplifies the use of the official SoundCloud Java API wrapper. And today I pushed the Processing port to GitHub. Now you can play a stream and analyse the spectrum/data with Minim. And more ... have fun!

Hi Darius,

Awesome work btw! I'm having some trouble getting the example working. I've created an app on my soundcloud account and have entered in the APP_ID and APP_SECRET , Username and password. Yet I'm still getting a 401 access denied. I'm just wondering if have to wait a certain time before the app is created on soundcloud?

Thank you for the note. I tested it and it ran without issues.

My questions:

Do you run your sketch it in the Android Mode of Processing? After my research there can be a problem with the SSL support of the internal HTTP library of Apache.
Do you entered the app and login data as strings?

SoundCloud updated the library with some bugfixes to version 1.3.0. I replaced that dependency and updated the library, too.
