how can i remove the background of an image?

the image background is white.

the background color is green.

how can i get it so the background of the image is transparent?

can you explain what is the color background? white or green?

which one you do want to keep?

however, the task of subtracting a background color (especially from a jpg) is quite frustrating, I suggest you to subtract the color you don't need with a photo editor and save it as PNG...

try out the following and play with the condition inside the if() you'll see that is better to edit your image before loading them in P5...

If the color is plain, you can check the value of img.pixels[i] directly:
if (img.pixels[i] != greenColor)
{
clean.pixels[i] = img.pixels[i];
}

thanks guys i didn't know that processing supported .png files so i just deleted the background of the image.
