Show shade of grey full screen according to incoming audio from built in mic

Hi,

I want to make a full screen program which will react to the incoming live audio from the built in microphone.

I'm using a macbook, never used processing before though.

Would probably need a bit of delay to smooth it over if thats possible too? otherwise it would be very much like a stroke light lol.

Can you help me do this?

Well a good first step would be to see if you can get the Minim Audio library to work with your microphone. Have you tried the GetLineIn example (File > Examples... > Libraries > Minim Audio > GetLineIn)? It'd be a good place to start...
