This is the message i get (im using processing 1.5.1)

Moved to contributed libraries.

Seems it's a mismatch between your controlP5 version, Processing version and/or code.

Perhaps you are using a controlP5 version meant for Processing 2.0? See the compatible versions here.

Thanks you were right, however i now have this problem:

actually i get this as well

Nullpointer exception

dat.controlP5.begin();

so maybe it isn't working still, can anybody verify which version will work with processing 1.5.1 on osx?

A null pointer on java.lang.*, perhaps you haven't instantiated an ArrayList or something?
You should provide your code so we can check it what's going on!

wow, the download is 190MB?! please extract the code that is giving you trouble, according to the error message, Demo_Visuals$GUIApplet.setupControl(Demo_Visuals.java:760) is a good place to start. maybe dat is not initialized yet? maybe controlP5 inside dat is not initialized yet?
