Yes there is a way, you can use keyReleased and then assign a key to the save() function. For example:

3.     save("Save.png");

5. }

Whenever you press the "s" key it will save what ever you're drawing or doing. It's important to use key Released because you don't want to save multiple images when you press it.

Two (similar) ways:
- Actually do your drawing operations in an off-line PGraphics, offsetting coordinates from the PApplet surface to the PGraphics one (ie. skipping the place taken by the tool bars). Draw the PGraphics on each frame, and when saving, save specifically this graphics. Advantages: no risk of drawing outside (on the tools), and someday you can have a graphics area bigger than the sketch area, with scrolling capability.
- Or, simpler, just copy the drawing area to a PGraphics and save it.
