Rotate when using pixels[]?

I have a sketch that draws an image that is naturally left oriented. I wanted it to point up instead and noticed that using rotate seemed to do nothing to the pixels. How should I do this?

Figured it out... I guess using this:

int py = int(map(x, xmin, xmax, 0, height));
int px = int(map(y, ymin, ymax, 0, width));
pixelVal[px+py*width]++;

instead of this:

int px = int(map(x, xmin, xmax, 0, width));
int py = int(map(y, ymin, ymax, 0, height));
pixelVal[px+py*width]++;

solves the problem. Although, annoyingly I have to use this for either one:

if (px >= 0 && px < width && py >= 0 && py < height) pixelVal[px+py*width]++;

to avoid errors. Is there a better workaround for this?
