How many people have attempted a sketch to render the earth in glorious high resolution? I will shortly be starting a project which needs a real time rendered view of the earth from space, complete with atmosphere haze, specular highlights and cloud layers, my task more focused more on making it pretty, than accurate.  

I thought I'd start a thread here for people to post stills or videos of their blue marbles.  I'm also interested in sharing advice on how to get things like the blending for the atmosphere glow, and bumpy clouds looking right.

I'll post my results and refinements here when I've got something to show, but in the meantime, please post your processing planet rendering prowess here!
