Recording a sketch in 2.0

I have created a sketch that does some pretty things in a draw().

I want to be able to record this sketch to a movie (i.e. mpeg type format or similar) so I can share it with colleagues.

I saw some threads saying there was a moviemaker extention, but other threads that suggested it had been dropped in 2.0?

Is there a new tool I should be using, or another approach that may work?

I'm very new to processing so apologies if this is a foolish question.

You can save every frame as image with saveFrame("frame-######.png"); ( http://www.processing.org/reference/saveFrame_.html)

The MovieMaker Tool in Tools/Movie Maker (should work in 2.0 and 2.1) can creat a film from the .pngs.

Thanks einraum!

I found Moviemaker and managed to implement saveframe().

When I use movie maker to compile those images into a single movie a file is created which I can open, but when I try to 'play' the movie it is blank. I can tell the content of the movie is not blank though as if I manually drag the progress along I can see the images I expect?

I have quicktime up to date, and have asked someone else to try playing the movie and they get the same issue too...

Any thoughts on this? I'm sure I must be doing something silly!

Has anyone seen a similar problem?
