OPENGL mess

Hi everyone, we're having a processing term on my university and i got stuck in a project, i don't know how to solve the problem...
there it goes: when you open the sketch, the whole thing goes ok, no lag or strange things, but when you zoom in to get acces to the code inside if part below the crossbars, when that part starts, i just putted a mousex,mousey circle to show you how bad it behaves.... To speak in a clearly way, the first part in the code is a 3D space, when i get into the area controlled by the if function, i would like to switch to 2D to put the image of the prince and the text etc... This is for some kind of interactive book cover.
NOTE: as the sketch is so primitive, just run it and zoom in to get acces inside the if function, dont try to pan arround.
