Can anybody help get me started on this code?

I need to create a random image generator. I'm trying to create a program where if you click on a specific ellipse, then a random image will pop up while you click. I want to assign each ellipse to a certain set of images. Help?

I made a simple example with two ellipse()s. If you click on the red one a rect() turns red, if you click on the green one the rect() green, and otherwise it turns black. You'll have to replace the parts of the code that have to do with color with image code. If you plan on having multiple ellipse()s then you'll probably want to make an array of a class:

Thanks, that helps. However I still am having trouble with the image array. How do I create multiple image arrays and assign them to different ellipses?

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but its not working. I'm still confused what to do with mouse Pressed

I just put the ellipses in void draw, but it didn't work. I don't get it lol

The part of the code that says:

if (sqrt(sq(mouseX-x1)+sq(mouseY-y1)) < d1/2) swap = color(255, 0, 0);

Is the equivalent of testing if the mouse is inside the first ellipse(). This code belongs inside of mousePressed() assuming you only want it to happen when someone clicks. If it is put into draw() then anytime the mouse is on the circle is counts as being "activated".

That bit of code is currently setting swap to be some color which is probably not that useful to you, I made it as an example of how to make something happen when a circle is clicked. You want to replace swap = something with the code for selecting an image identifier from the second code. That will pick a random image from imgs1.

Edit: As PhiLho said, post your code. Otherwise all we can do is give explanations and guess how you are implementing it.
