Forgive me for being a Java/Clojure weenie, but is there anything akin to Maven/Leningen in the Processing world for nominating the set of libraries to be used in a particular Processing sketch as pom.xml/project.clj does, or any other automated way of obtaining those libraries?

It seems that that one has to manually insure the downloading of dependent libraries (and not necessarily from a central repository) and placing of them in the correct local directory. If there is nothing currently available in Processing 1.5.x, are there any plans to do this sort of thing in Processing 2.x?

Welcome to the forum Dan.

Processing 2.0 will have a very convenient "Add Library..." menu option, which allows users to browse, select and automatically install interesting libraries as well as automatically check for updates. At the moment we indeed have to do this manually. But that is also pretty straightforward for most libraries, just download it and unzip it to the libraries folder.

The above concerns the process of downloading and installing libraries. Of course, once installed, you can use libraries with an import statement. If known you can type the import statement yourself, but the menu can help you find and write the correct import statements for installed libraries as well.
