Hi,

I'm totally new to Processing and would love some help on a project if anybody is interested.

Basically I want to create a piece of hardware that will display the view count of a Youtube video.

I would like processing to extract the data from YouTube then send it on to my Arduino.

I have a Python script that works but would like to get it working in Processing.

Please give me a shout if you are up for helping.

A quick check of a youtube page shows that the video count appears as text in the HTML code for the page.
Thus, you should be able to use loadStrings( "<URL>" ) to get the HTML code, which you can then parse and look for the view count.

HINT: It's in a span.
