You should be more specific about what you're trying to achieve.
But you should definitely look into copy(..) function: http://www.processing.org/reference/copy_.html
Just load those illustrations and then copy the parts from them.

Another try to make clear what I want to achieve;

I will load 15 images into Processing. Then I want to achieve that Processing copies random parts out of a few of the 15 images (not necessarily al 15 images), at random. Processing will create a kind of collage or new image. Because it all happens at random, there will be never a same end result...

(Hope that's it a little bit more clear now... it's sometimes hard to explain in English...)

Possibly the easiest way (with lots of detail left out)....

//create an array of PImages...

PImage myImage = new PImage[15];

...load the images here...

//choose one at random...

int r=int(random(15));

//as patakk says, use copy()
// fill in the other numbers randomly generated as required to copy parts of image to random position on screen
copy (myImage[r],  .......

You could also use frameCount (which exists in Processing) insted of counter variable.

Another question about the project. The illustrations are almost finished sow we can almost integrate them in the program. But the program puts the images over each other, but we want the images next to each other, like in the image below...
The rest of the program is excellent!

Just compute the position of each image, as if they are put on a grid. Space regularly the x positions, and when reaching a given width, reset x to zero and increment y.

Ok, so just:

myImage[0] (0,0,0,0);
myImage[1] (100,0,0,0);
etc...

or do I have to compute the position in the 'draw' section?
