I'm using Processing 1.5.1 on my 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 computer.  When using the serial library I got a RXTX Version Mismatch error which I solved using by downloading and installing rxtx2.1-7 from here.  I also, added my user name to the UUCP group following instructions here.  I am now free of all errors and everything appears to be working.  However, Serial.list() does not return any available serial ports.  I'm looking for the usb serial adapter I have plugged into my computer.  This same device is visible using Processing 1.5.1 on a Windows 7 computer.  

I've also tried running Processing as root.  No luck.

Anyone have any ideas?
