Processing programmers / mad scientists wanted
The Words are Pictures Studio is an expressive and experimental typography studio based in New York, founded by Craig Ward. Previous clients have included WIRED magazine, The New York Times, Creative Review, Maxim, The Economist, BMW, Ebay and many more.
I am now looking for potential collaborators on projects for which code-based and generative design is the solution.
The 'position' - for want of a better word - would probably suit someone quite young; a student or recent graduate maybe. You don't particularly need to be a visual person or from a design course or background, but you should have a good knowledge of Processing and related software and are happy to take visual direction. A collaboration of course is never a one sided thing so you will also be looked to for suggestions and ideas for treatments.
It would be on a project by project basis, the benefits being that it would pay when work did come in and, hopefully, you'll get to work with some cool clients.
If you would like to be considered or would like to work with me regardless, please drop a line with a link to some of your favourite projects to 'recruit {at} wordsarepictures dot co dot uk'
