There are some projects like Ipad processing and someone has ported processingjs (a derivative of processing) to the iphone, itouch, ipad and android.
However, there is no full blown IOs version of processing available as yet.
I see processing as the tip of the iceberg metaphor
.
We are just at the beginning of the level of productivity we can achieve with today's electronic device languages.
Processing's core strength in my opinion is it's ability of being the fastest idea to proof of concept software tool currently available across operating systems.
It works with both IOs (mac), WinOS (pc) and Linux (the other OS :-) )
Processing is so powerful sometimes its scary!
Processing rocks when it comes to pixel on pixel manipulation. It's faster than flash in this regard and to think its a layer on top of Java which is another layer on top of C.
I shudder to think what would be possible if Processing was ported to machine language on the fly where you communicated directly with the 'Direct Assembly Code' now that would rock!!!
