Processing IDE doesn't run sketches

Hi,

I've used the processing IDE on my windows computer for 2 years.
Now I installed the processing IDE 2.08a. (EDIT: 2.01b)

When I try to run the sketches, nothing happens, just a window appears

and disappears after 5 seconds.

I have got java 7 , but it seems like processing is using version 6...

Two things that I can think of: try the new version (2.0b1), and check that you are using the JDK, not the JRE.

Strange...

Android stetches work on my phone.
I have got installed the hava JDK since many months, nothing works in standart mode.

It could be the setup on your machine. Android uses the Dalvik VM and is thus completely isolated from your computer, although it shows that it is not Processing's problem, but your computer's problem. It must be something to do with your Java. You are using 2.0b1 for Windows 64 bit (7? XP?) and Java 6. I've gotten it to work with all of the above (Windows 7). So... it must be a problem with your Java installation.

I'm using Windows 7 and Java 7 JDK, both 64 bit.
The same confuguration works with Processing on my second computer, but not on my laptop.
I have reinstalled Java 7 JDK, did everything whats possible, updated drivers, installed also

Java JDK 32 bit and the new versions of Processing 32 and 64 bit. I also deinstalled the old

Java 6.

Try going back to Java 6. If you install both, you can choose which one to use from the settings in your PATH variable.

The ati part might suggest an issue with your video card. Perhaps you can try and update your video drivers.
Mmm, I see you did that already.
The error is in native code, so as you saw with your second computer, it is really tied to your system.

Are the older Processing versions still working?

All old versions are working,

but not the 2.0... versions.

Processing 2.0 uses OpenGL 2.0, the other versions not...
But I think that couldn't be the problem, cause my

ati radeon hd 6370m supports opengl 4.0.

Did everything again (update drivers, installesd Java, turned aero off, etc).

Now only the OpenGL arent working, everything without opengl works great.

Everything works fine!!!!!!!

Deinstalled the old driver and installed a new again!!!!!
