Processing for Linux - Java 64 bit.

So sometimes you can't run Processing for Linux because it has java for 32 bit Linux, and your system is 64 bit Linux. So I patched up 1.5.1, removing the 32 bit java and putting in 64 bit Java. You can download it here:

I need some people with 64bit systems to confirm that this works fine. Should work tho.

Sounds like a sledgehammer to crack a nut. All I do is in a console navigate to the processing directory:-

mv (or rm -Rf) java the offending 32 bit java
ln -sfn /opt/jdk1.6.0_26 java where /opt/jdk1.6.0_26 is where I have installed 64 bit jdk

It would be nice to have the option like Windows of expert download (no jdk) because I do not require the 32 bit jdk, but it is not a big problem.

yes, sledgehammer to crack a nut, but this is just a zipfile teh n00bs can be directed to instead of doing the above.

Why do you bump? I see no question above. Except the request for test, which might, as monkstone state, not interest everybody.
One downside with your approach is that such file must be maintained for each new version of Processing (not that frequent, at least).
