A friend at work saw my work in processing. I told him with a decent enough programmer, you can use Processing to do a commercial level
2d game.
He said he is not sure that any one programmer can create a game to the standard we see today. He thinks it takes a whole team of people working around the clock to create something even half-decent.
I disagree. Processing is so powerful in my opinion, you are only limited by the ability of the programmer using it. With the right techniques and opengl optimization, I believe one can create a decent enough game, even by today's standards.
What do you guys think ?
Do you think Processing is a decent game-making environment, when optimization and creativity is the main focus?
