I must tell you first that I only have a few basic clues about programming with processing. However I have already been wandering in this forum and would like to thank the community in general for putting together these resources.
I am interested in e-books and digital publishing at the moment and trying to gather information in order to choose a development environment to create augmented books. My main concerns are :

- precise control of typography and layout
- cross-platform compatibility (the application should be read in web browsers in all kinds of devices : I have read about processing.js, canvas and html5...)
- advanced interaction facilities with sensors included in mobile devices
- integration of high quality multimedia content (high rez pictures, hd movies, sound)
- open source development
- stability
- ability to evolve
could you please give me some clues / links / examples ?
