OPENGL not working here. Sketch with just import, setup, size and simple draw ... gives this error:

I've tried to write OPENGL2 ... but that's not working.

It works here.

Have you tried the version that includes java?

Not working. Just the error.

It seems nvoglv32.DLL is an nvidia opengl dll. Try updating the drivers for your graphics card.

Also, I see a couple of 32 bit references in that error message. Are you indeed on a 32 bit windows?

Yes I am. And the OpenGL worked in 1.5 ... so the drivers should be fine...

Sketch works fine for me in 2.0a1. I'm not sure what profile it defaults too. I would think GL2 should include OpenGL 1.5, but perhaps it defaults to ES. I wonder if it depends on what Mode the IDE is in...

OPENGL in Processing 2.0 uses JOGL2 instead of JOGL1 (which was the one used in Processing 1.5.1 and earlier), so maybe this change is related to the crash you are experiencing. However, I have tested the opengl examples in several windows machines with nvidia cards, and haven't seen this error. Question: are you using the standard of expert package?

A couple of side notes:

1) the OPENGL name is retained for compatibility purposes, but the renderer has been effectively renamed to P3D since the old, software based, P3D renderer is gone. Also, the OPENGL2 constant is not longer supported.

2) you don't need to add the import processing.opengl.*;

So your test code in Processing 2.0a1 could be written as follows:

size(600, 600, P3D);
}
void draw(){
background(255);
fill(0);
rect(50,50,50,50);
}

I reinstalled the driver to the latest available and it's working.

But just as application or in PDE... exported applet gives me just blank window... as you can see here... http://bla.qwera.sk :( or does it work for you?
I'm on Win 7 32bit, Java 6.27

I did just copy all the stuff from applet dir into my web dir... I should be there, unless there is some problem with the processing alpha.
Can someone else try to export the code ( http://bla.qwera.sk/soth2.pde )to applet? If it's working for him.

I haven't tested exporting applets with P3D and JOGL2 yet. This error means that there are some missing parts in there... for sure I will look at it.

Everything works fine with JAVA2D ... or size(600,600); and I guess it's even bit faster.

EDIT: That was without smooth.

There is no speed 2D mode in Processing 2? Like P2D? I would like to use opengl, but that won't run as applet :(
