Hi All,
In short: I've been an enthousiastic Processing user for more than five years now. I've written my own libraries and used Processing for many of my artworks. I also taught several Processing workshops. Enough experience, I would say.
At the moment I'm using three computers daily: 1 Windows XP Pro desktop, 1 Windows 7 Enterprise desktop and 1 Windows 7 Home Premium desktop.
Processing 1.5.1 runs smoothly on all three (although very bad Android doesn't work anymore on 1.5.1!)
Processing 2.0 is causing serious problems on all three machines...
When I run a simple graphic sketch (using P2D, P3D) it will give FRAMEBUFFER errors on all three machines and won't work at all.
The only way to run Android sketches is using the oldest (XP) machine with Processing 2.0 (cannot get it to work at all on both Windows 7 machines with none of the Processing versions)
So what can I do???
Stick to Processing 1.5.1 for my apps in general and switch to Windows XP + Processing 2.0 for my Android apps? Or buy three new machines with the most expensive graphic boards I can find??? Or wait for Processing 3.0??? Or what???
(for your information: I've updated the graphic drivers to the latest versions with no positive results)
I'm very frustrated and don't know what to do at this point :-(
Rolf
