Processing 2.0.3 will start initializing (Splash Screen) but then close

I am running OSX 10.8.5 with Java 1.6.0_51 installed. I have done everything that I could find in order to make it work.. I've looked at the console and it is not giving me any errors from which I have been able to further navigate but to no avail.

I've changed the directory and changed the names of the files as was recommended in the troubleshooting wiki.

I can go back to 1.5 and then it does open, otherwise it is not working. Could someone help?

Dunno much what to advise. Perhaps backup "preferences.txt" somewhere else,
so it can start from a blank slate?

I was able to figure out what the issue... I was deleting the preference file and not the location / resources file in Documents. That fixed the problem.
