Copy the file to the sdcard using ddms.bat like in this video:

A physical device connected through USB should also show up in ddms, so you can copy files to an actual phone the same way.

As you can see in the video, you may have some problems with the transfer. I have found that if at first you don't succeed, try, try and try again...

You should then be able to access the file like in the example:

Dear Rikard, the probrem is that the video need install by the apply in the SD, NOT manually.

The idea is: i have make an aplply that need play a video, the video is compiled in the sketch data folder, (for exmaple /data/video1.mp4) but the videoViewer no can access to the data folder resources, only can play on SD.

Then the apply needs to install the file in the SD because is in the apply file .apk

In this moment i have created all functions and it's working fine, but i think that the processing for Android have many problems for access to data resources.

Only can access for read in data/*.* with loadBytes (for general purpouse). This function have a problem, because send an error "out off Memory" when reads about 1Mbyte. In this case i have divided the video file in parts of 512K.

On the other hand, no can save files in SD with the saveBytes function.

In this case I copy all divided parts in one .mp4 file with the next function:

In the sketch data folder have the video in parts:

data/video.mp4.01  ---> 512K max.
data/video.mp4.02  ---> 512K max.
data/video.mp4.03  ---> 512K max.
data/video.mp4.04  ---> 512K max.
data/video.mp4.05  ---> 512K max.
data/video.mp4.06  ---> 512K max.

The function copy all this video file parts in /sdcard/video.mp4

I do not know if there are another better way, but the only one I've gotten it to work, and I had to spend much time searching for it.
