Not sure if anyone has it working...
You can always do your own picking without the library!

The gist of it is that you render your scene twice: once like normal, and then again to an off-screen PGraphics in false-color so that when you need to know what object was clicked in the normal image, you simply ask what false-color is there on the off-screen image.

And yes, that sketch was based on an even earlier work by Antiplastik, which is in some old wiki somewhere... Oh here it is:
