pdf recording - letters show as blocks

Hi

When I record a pdf of an image containing text, the letters come out as blocks. This happens whichever font I choose.

Images of printscreen and resulting pdf.

What am I doing wrong?

I suggest to search font in the PDF library reference page...

Thanks, I've incorporated everything suggested there, and now, regardless of the font used, the font in the pdf looks like Arial.
