P2D, P3D don't work unter windows

Hey,

just downloaded the 9th beta totally excited about it. but right after installing I ran into the problem that I already had under b8.

When I run a sketch in P2D or P3D it doesn't start and I get following error:

Looking at this error, it seems you have an Intel graphics card. Apparantly it either has outdated drivers (solution: update your graphics card drivers) or is incompatible with the new OpenGL renderers (solution: get a new graphics card / computer). If you post your graphics card and (updated) driver version, then perhaps andres can tell you if this falls within the range of supported devices.

I would not bank on it linux is having strange "windowing" issues with processing-2.0b9 with latest everything and moderately decent graphics card.

Works just fine for me. You should update your drivers.

I was pointing out that the issue may not be as simple as drivers, there have been several postings that point to other issues with processing-0217 and for some reason they are not apparent with processing-0218 compiled from source from github. Your comments are unhelpful to say the least...

I have a Raedon 6770M with driver version 8.830.6.3000 cant update any further.

I've just looked at the specs and for your card, and it is supposed to support opengl-4.1. So there should be no issues there (but is it getting used, and not the poxy on board graphics?). Other things to mess with is graphics card settings ie best to let application set rather than override.

Random advice, like the others...
Install a 32-bit version of Processing, instead of the 64-bit one. Lot of people install the latter, thinking they will have added power (not so much, at best they are able to run their sketches with more memory), or thinking it is necessary because they have a 64-bit system (not at all), and they have lot of problem when interfacing with hardware (serial library and similar).
It is a shot in the dark, but easy to try (unlike the "change computer" suggestion...) without even uninstalling the current version.

Hey,

thanks for the advices.

I also tried the 32bit version before, but I got the same error.

I checked my graphic card settings but there is nothing to setup but quality/performance, displaycolors...
