All the recent effort by the Processing guys on their webpages urged me to finally add the source code to our online applets at http://www.gwoptics.org/processing/

Some of you might have seen these sketches before. They are all related to optics and interferometry. Now they come
with the full source code for download. The type and quality of the code is very different since every sketch has been
programmed by a different student; so most of the code is really not useful as an example. The code for the GBViewer
is pretty good though and makes a nice example for plotting functions in 3D, I think. And the Michelson example might work as a simple template for embedding a display in larger frame with GUI elements.

I did not know if source code distribution would be bit more difficult when students and a university are involved, but in the end I got the permissions without problems.

This is really great work, and thank you for placing it in the public domain. Do you have any example code showing the use of the GridBackground class? I need to do simple 2D plots with grid lines for X and/or Y major ticks.

Thanks! It might be useful in a future release to have the ability to show grid lines on only one axis. Alternatively, you could have different colors for the x and y grid lines, and one color could be set the same as background to have them disappear.

Good idea. We've now added more control over the grid lines to the library. We still have to fix one other thing, but the new version should be online soon.

Do you have any examples of IGraph2DTrace implementation? I simply need to plot a line through an array of data points. I don't need tick marks for the individual data points. Thanks for your help.

I managed to plot the line in the following manner, by copying from the ScatterPlot example, though I don't know if it is the most elegant or efficient way of doing things:

I don't know whether that's the most elegent or efficient way but that's exactly how I'd do it.
