opening a webpage inside applet

Hi everyone

I'm a total novice at processing but for a little experiment I want to do I'd like to know if it's possible

to open a html webpage inside a processing sketch.

or if it's possible to use html directly in a procesing sketch I'd like to know.

I know there is something as processingjs but I'm not sure that's what I need because I really want the main "thing" to be a java applet.

I'd like to have a facebook like button in an app. so I'd like to have the embed code to work in processing in one way or another.

any help or links to an example is greatly appreciated.

hello

thanks, I did some quick experimenting but this doesn't really work the way I want.

it's indeed good if I want to link to a webpage. the problem is that I want the actuall like button thing in the applet.

if I use the code in the reference and paste the embed code instead of the url it only works half like I want it to.

I get directed to an empy page with just the like button on. and i have to like it again before it will actually work.

is there any way I could bypass this second step that facebook imposes?
