open an image which is not present in the data folder

hey....I am working on an application in which there are multiple images present on my pen-drive and a processing app running on my desktop.So when I connect the pen-drive to my desktop ,how do i access the images on the pen-drive and open them in my application...Thanks in advance..

I believe you can use an absolute path: http://processing.org/reference/loadImage_.html

"Alternatively, the file maybe be loaded from anywhere on the local computer using an absolute path (something that starts with / on Unix and Linux, or a drive letter on Windows), or the filename parameter can be a URL for a file found on a network."
