I would like to have posted this under a 'Website' forum, so apologies if this is the wrong place.
I am using a chrome browser (v12.0.742.122 current version) with the latest java plugin (J6 update 24), and I have been using processing and visiting processing.org for a couple of years.
However, suddenly, the example links at processing.org are triggering an install of the java plugin whenever i click them.
I have visited many other online applets and they are running correctly, and my locally generated processing applets are running in the browser fine too.
No matter what i do - re install the plugin as prompted - restart the computer etc, the links to the examples just re-prompt me to install the plugin as if it was never there!
Very puzzling. I suspect this i an issue with the way the website is declaring the applet.
If not, and its a local problem some how, is there anyone who can help or must I call the A-Team?
