"null does not run in 64-bit mode"

I'm triying to compile an Xbee example and it returns me this message:"null does not run in 64-bit mode"

Im using the 2.0b4 release, it doesn't have the "serial does not run in 64-bit mode" issue anymore, but now it keeps giving me this new message, what can I do, anyone else with this error message?

I get the same error, "null does not run in 64-bit mode" when I try and run a sketch. I haven't had any luck finding a solution yet...

processing.app.SketchException: null does not run in 64-bit mode.

Daniel - Perhaps it's an issue with 2.0b4 version. I went back to version 1.5.1 and everything worked fine.

Library names weren't being set properly in 2.0b4, that's now fixed for the next release:

http://code.google.com/p/processing/issues/detail?id=1331

That's why you're seeing 'null' instead of 'serial'.

We simply do not have a 64-bit version of the serial library, therefore when Processing runs 64-bit (something that 1.5 could not do), it cannot do serial.

To get serial back, you need to use a 32-bit version of Processing. To run in 32-bit on Windows and Linux, download the 32-bit version of Processing. On Mac OS X, go to Preferences, and change from 64-bit to 32-bit (toward the bottom of the window).

Thanks Ben, I'm back using 1.5 expert on my 64-bit machine and everything works fine

ia there a future idea in overcoming this?
many new computers are using 64bit and many processing users are using serial...
like me :(
i dont want to be stuck in 1.5, i love processing 2 :)
please..................
