Pay attention to letter case. It's noFill().

hello yes I tried many different ways to spell it and it still wont work not even in the reference page because that is the first thing I tried.

the function noFILL(int) does not exist sorry you probly cant see it well but im new at screenshots but anyway ive tried different ways to type using ellipse rectmode all the ones ive learned so far same response?

You are capitalizing the "i" in noFill(). It is also important to note that noFill() as a function with a paramteter doesn't exist. It is used to tell Processing to draw shapes without a fill value, so using a parameter doesn't make sense. You may be looking instead for fill(), which sets the fill value to a specified color. Also, your placement of noFill() will have no effect on the rectangle that you draw as is only effects subsequent drawing.

ok what is subsequent drawing? and I tried with lower case I still same response and im not only trying on rect ive tried others also it is still the same ouput im trying to do this figure here

You need to remove the 20 between the brackets of the noFill() method.

Subsequent = following. Calsign means that you need to put the noFill() method before the rect() method, otherwise it won't have an effect. The noFill() method only works on the methods that come after it.

You should prefer to just use text copy & paste. It's easier to check if there's any mistypes!
Again, you gotta pay more attention on how to type programming commands!

By convention, all functions and variables begin w/ lower case letters.
And if more subsequent words are involved to a function's name, each initial letter
is upper-cased afterwards. This is called lower camel-case.

Thus, function noFill() is 2 words together -> no & fill. Word no remains lower case, but at the 2nd word fill,
its 1st letter is capitalized. Rest remains lower case, of course. It's pretty easy! 

So please, fix your misspelling noFi LL() to noFill(). 

my bad man lol i guess i should wear my glasses or make the font bigger. i just tried noFill(); and rect(30,30,30,30); just to try it out and it finally worked thanks
