Hello
I want to draw circles in a rainbow color scheme and my code is working, but i dont get Orange out of it so far (didnt check which other colors dont work too)
So in both Color modes i tried and it doesnt work. I looked up the relevant values for the colors
In RGB i tried 255-125-0 and in HSB it's 30-100-100
For HSB it's shifted. Orange appears around 5 to 10 degrees not 30

What could be the problem?

Ok i fixed the problem with the rgb-version, but there's an issue with the HSB one: While i cycle through the Hue-Circle, there are more Red-tones than the tones of other colours.
What could be the problem here?

Perhaps replacing -> fill(hue, 100, 100);
w/ this -> fill(frameCount % 360, 100, 100); ???

The default range is 255. If you want it to be in line with the regular HSB range, you should use:

colorMode(HSB, 360, 100, 100);

No didnt work
But i found out, if i set the angle i count to at 90° then it works. A perfect rainbow cycle. So why is it 360/4 ?

Angle 90° is green, isn't it?

Even though saturation and brightness is measured in percents, Processing doesn't quite correspond to HSB rules. It doesn't use 100. It rather uses 255, as seen in the code below, that the background is perfectly orange.

background(30, 255, 255);
