Need help installing Processing

^Hi,

^{I'm new to Processing and am trying to install it. I had already downloaded a jdk so I decided to download Processing without Java. It seemed to install but when I try to run Processing, I get the error message "The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Developmet Kit installation or the runtime is corrupted. The system cannot find the path specified" It seems like the jdk I have is still working with other applications.}

What other applications? Are you sure they are using a JDK not a JRE?

Since you refer to a registry I assume it is a WIndows machine. Windows is quite happy with multiple JDKs so you could idownload the Processing with Java and install that.

I'm using Windows. I can compile java code using the command line so I assume that means a JDK is installed on my computer. If you can use multiple JDKs on Windows I'll probably download a copy of Processing that comes with Java.
