Need a little help, please..

Hi everyone,

I’m kind of new to the open source community thing and would like some help on how to participate. I’m mainly a java programmer that’s worked for a couple of IT firms. I would like a little help on how I can use my skills to benefit the community.

what do you mean by participate ? There are a lot of different ways.
Just being active on the processing forum, posting your work and help others is already a great way of taking part and helping... If you want to get active and start to develop something a tool would be a great start.
There are several tools that enhance the capabilities of processing in different ways and there is still a lot on the wishlist :

You can also take a look at the bug tracker and see if you can address some of the issues there...
Of course, you must be familiar with Processing, first.
Tools are indeed useful, and so are libraries, pure or wrapping an existing one (to ease their usage and make it more natural in Processing).
