hi,

I'm searching for a mysql search engine or another option to search and mySQL database. I've found Lucene, but i don't see any way to use this option. Is there an easy way to solve this problem?

It depends on what you search in the DB. Perhaps a simple SQL request might be enough.

You want to search all this at once? Or to find something among data like this?
In the latter case, you can do a search on one field:
SELECT id, description FROM dataTable WHERE description LIKE '%kinect%';

Thanks, yes that's a nice search engine. I solved it like this:

dbconnection = new MySQL( this, "127.0.0.1", database, user, pass );
if ( dbconnection.connect() )
{
dbconnection.query("SELECT datum, woord FROM Entries WHERE woord LIKE '%"+theString+"%'");
while (dbconnection.next()) {
//println(dbconnection.getString(2));
String result = dbconnection.getString(2);
for(i=0;i<wordAlph.length; i++){
String wordSearch = wordAlph[i];
if( result.equals(wordSearch)){
println(i);
}
