I have made a proof of concept application/device for smart devices. Basically you use the interface like a cellular phone but without the need of impact. You simply slide (light, finger , sound, whatever) over the correspond quadrant colour (color spelt where I come from) and the system places the corresponding letter. Now this is just a proof of concept. Each button can be programmed to perform a specific functions or a combination of them. The possibilities are left up to the user and not the device.

Press 1 to 4 to toggle draw modes.

One cool thing I like about it is that if you play with the draw modes you can create different characters hence actions.
