Minimum requirements for Processing in Android mode

I'm trying to run Processing in Android mode on an Asus netbook, and although I managed to install it properly (I think), the emulator is unbearably slow. Even on my HP quad processor under Windows 7, it's somewhat sluggish. What are the minimum recommended requirements as far as CPU speed and RAM?

After developing a few android applications using processing I have came to the conclusion that no matter what specs your computer has... the Android emulator just runs badly... I am using an i7 with 6gb of ram and a good enough graphics card... and it still cant run anything complex....

So based upon my own experiences I would probably suggest buying a developers android phone such as a nexus one or adp 2 (check image).

You will find yourself alot more productive if you run your apps on an android phone.

There is alot of features that an emulator cannot really test, and it will never compare to the performance of using a phone itself.

I know this does not completely answer your question but I thought I would just maybe give advice from my own experience as it would be a shame to spoil your experience working with Processing for Android.
