Maze Game

Hi! I've basically just have a background and a bunch of long rectangles to make a maze and an ellipse that moves through it. How do i make the ellipse to not collide with the rectangles? I'm completely new to processing and programming in general. Started on it about two weeks ago.

Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

Several ways are possible...
I suggest you go through the examples coming with Processing, some of them are about collision detection.
In your case, I think you have to check the pixel color in the direction of movement of the circle, at the distance equals to the radius of the circle. If it has the color of a wall, you have a collision.
