Hi there,
I have a question to all of you, do you think you have to be a good mathematician to become a good generative artist? I'm reading now "Generative Art" by Matt Pearson and I'm a little bit confused. There is a lot of math in this book, and I cannot belive that every artist who works with Processing has a solid math background. If so, how do you manage, how do you work with Processing. Simple experimenting on a source code, changing variables, adding randomness? Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe a solid math background is absolutely essential?
